It is always my endeavor to try new things. Not primarily for growing myself economically, but to understand why the world is raving about a phenomenon. Here, you will get a flavor of some of my personal projects - failures as well as successes - some of which I want to follow through perpetually, and some are a one-off experience

"Filtered Destinations"
In a traditional customer adoption cycle, I belong to 'late majority' with respect to this project. I hopped onto the content production bandwagon very recently in 2023. I made videos that did not take more than 10 hours from conception to production. I learnt the arts of researching travel destinations extensively, video editing, audio recording, SEO, and also ran some ads with my own money! This project helped me accept the sound of my own voice, and improve the characteristics of my speech. My first video now has more than 35,000 organic views.
Education & Mentorship
At upGrad & others
I guide people interested in marketing and showcase how they can create magic with the right strategy & tools. I've delivered various webinars through upGrad on digital marketing and spoken about how to begin, where to persist, and ultimately build a rewarding career in various fields of marketing. I've also mentored junior members at my workplace on building executive presence, the art of storytelling from data, and everything technical to achieve that.
Pianist
An on-off relationship
I was always fascinated by musical instruments. My interest in keyboard started when I was 12 and I learnt it for half a year only to move on to guitar. The whole world was learning guitar! Over the years though, I've been able to get through several graded exams as a classical pianist and I'm recently received distinction marks in grade 5 piano exams affiliated to London College of Music. I've also completed 6 grades of piano theory from Trinity College of London. In my free time, I try to play tunes that are either popular, or ever-green - mostly unsuccesfully though!
Travel & Adventure
A quest of life
Every year I take 2 long vacations to either relax or be adventurous in the hope that I’ll learn something new about myself. I learnt that I’m more of a mountain person after a 5-day surfing trip to Mulki. I learnt that I have shin splints after I took up running and went for a 10k run. I learnt that I absolutely love biking after I bought an RE Himalayan and went on road trips regularly. I learnt the importance of dive sites after a recent deep-sea diving excursion in Gili Travangan. My last 3 years look something like this: In 2021 I went bungee jumping and saw snowfall for the first time. In 2022, I rode the world's fastest roller coaster and visited the world's tallest building. And in 2023 I visited one of the most beautiful places - Bali. My conscious objective is to live more of this life and know more about the world and me.
